Datsun Heat Shield (Aluminium) Double layered
This heat shield has been manufactured in Aluminium (the overall original shape has been retained). It will fit the Datsun Roadster 1600 and 2000 with Solex Carburetor's. It is double layered (sandwich construction), for superior heat deflection. The bottom edge has been extended by 10 mm for increased surface. Although this is a double panel construction it is lighter than the steel race part. This is an important item to keep the carburetor's/fuel cool.
The Heat Shield is designed for right hand drive Roadster's, but can easily be modified for left hand drive. We can make the cut out for you, however it is best to custom fit it "around" the steering column.

Heat Shield (Steel) Re-Manufactured as per original Factory Race Part
Re-manufactured heat shield (the overall original shape has been retained). This heat shield has been constructed in Steel. It will fit the Datsun Roadster 1600 and 2000 with Solex Carburetor's. The bottom edge has been extended by 10 mm for increased surface. For added rigidity around the holes, a washer has been added to stop the fatigue cracks. This is an important item to keep the carburetors/fuel cool.
The Heat Shield will only fit right hand drive Roadster's
Note: For added longevity, and heat rejection the shield has been ceramic coated.
