Chassis
The chassis and bulk heads received a great
number of modifications. We had to accommodate
a tri carb. engine with a special exhaust
system. Room had to be made for air conditioning,
collapsible steering column, large fuel tank
with pumps and filters. The suspension has
been lowered and upgraded with inboard Koni
shockers all around. A side intrusion bar
system runs from the engine mounts through
to the rear seats. Mounts for the FIA roll
cage and heavy duty skid plate had to be
welded in place. The quick release soft top
mechanism allows for a fast transition into
a hard top Healey. Four jacking points have
been added. More leg room for the driver
has been integrated..

The upgrades in The Electrical Department include:-
Electric Windows, Central Locking , Door
and Foot Well Lights, Satellite Tracking
System, and Alarm System. Helmet Intercom
integrated with Phone, and UHF Radio, Radio/CD
Entertainment System. Multiple Gauges, Sensor's
and Cruise Control, Tag Heuer Stop watch,
just to mention a few of the Modern Conveniences.

full restoration of a different kind:-
The Interior:-_
The interior has been trimmed with the finest
Australian Leather. The seats are of the
rally car type, complete with head rests, and 3" Willans
harnesses.
The Mechanicals
ASTN's mechanicals include all the right
bits to go for a "Cruise" or to
go "Racing". The DMD performance
Engine delivers the power to the straight
cut gearbox, and the quaiffe differential.
The magnesium minilites with the Bridgestone
Potenzas transfer the power onto the road
very nicely.
